LS4 Stainless Oil Pan with Starter Relocation

We have taken the starter relocation for LS4 applications to another level. After 10 years worth of experience refining this oil pan design, LS4 King is excited to offer an economical solution for enthusiasts pursuing the 4T80E Transmission Conversion.

The LS4 differs from the rest of the LS family of engines as it lacks a block mounted starter provision. The LS4 was mated to a unique 4T65E transmission case that utilized a reverse rotation starter mounted on the bell-housing. This works great in OEM form, but severely limits the amount of available transmission options for conversions as most transmissions do not favor the bell-housing starter combination. This new product from LS4 King remedies that issue by providing a starter mount provision integrated into our replacement oil pan.

As the title suggests, the new oil pan from LS4 King is completely constructed from 304 Stainless Steel. This material is known for it's extreme corrosion resistance and strength. The overall construction and assembly lends itself to a product capable of far outliving your vehicle and maintaining its original appearance as it does so. Each oil pan features an integrated starter mounting pad and is available for purchase both with and without a starter.

In addition to the starter relocation provision, every oil pan features dual M12x1.50 magnetic drain plugs, a single M18x1.5 oil return port, stainless steel mounting hardware as well as the necessary bung plugs, fittings and seals.

The pan ships ready to work with the OEM pick-up tube however an upgraded high flow pick-up tube and baffle kit are available separately for the most demanding engine applications. 

Please note: The purchase of the LS4 King oil pan will require a remote mount oil filter kit. While some options are available for purchase on the website, it is impossible to list every possible configuration.
